What's in a title
"Pangaea" - the name of a super-continent that was proposed to have included all the land masses of the earth before they separated into the current divided continents.

"Revisited" - going back to that unified time, removing the distance and separations between continents, islands, hearts.

"Unified in purpose" - the goal of spiritually conscious persons to live a life in a conscious relationship with the Divine

"Diversified in practice" - as we are individuals, there will be differences in how we form and express that relationship;

"Inner sacred dialogue" - the life within our inner sacred space shared with others.

Purpose of Pangaea Revisited - an inner-spiritual dialogue

The purpose of this publication is to educate the public about the simultaneous oneness and difference of various spiritual traditions so that we may grow in honest celebration of each other's expression of their relationship with Divinity. In addition, it is the hope that the readers (and contributors) will grow stronger and deeper in their own individual spiritual practices as they experience the spiritual life of people who do not simply speak religious doctrine, but from people who live it.

Structure of Pangaea Revisited - an inner-spiritual dialogue

Each issue will focus on one particular theme. All contributors will be given the same topic and/or questions which they will answer in their own way.

Knowing that there are many views even within a particular tradition, we will acknowledge this in the following way: Each view, or spiritual path, will be recognized as coming "thru the eyes of" an individual. This allows them to be truly themselves, to come from their individual heart bringing with them all they have gathered from their chosen path. We all know that even when we walk through the park together on the very same path, we will see different things, hear different things, and be attracted to different things. You can say to me, "Do you see that purple flower over there". "Oh, no, I hadn't. Thank you for pointing that out to me. It's beautiful" What you share with me about what you experience on our walk together gives me a broader awareness and deeper experience of my own walk. In this way, the sharing of these contributors can awaken us to new dimensions.
Contributors of Pangaea Revisited - an inner-spiritual dialogue

The contributors are a writing counsel of spiritualists - people who actually walk their chosen path moment to moment, day to day, year to year and who are considered leaders among the people whom they serve. These spiritualists have also been chosen for the level of their spiritual insights and philosophical broadness that have led them to publicly embrace and encourage social and spiritual pluralism without compromising their own chosen spiritual path. These people, strong in their own practices, do not fear differences. These people, joyful in their own relationship with divinity, delight in the multifarious ways others express their relationships with the Divine.

These leaders are local to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is vital for all of us to seek the guidance and wisdom available in our own communities. All too often we seek out the famous, the stars, the BIG and overlook the gems in our own backyard. We must uncover them, bring them to light, and allow their brilliance to shine. This will fortify us. This will nourish us. This will empower us.
