The LIGHT vision is one of wholeness and reverence for the sacredness of all life expressed through voluntary simplicity - where there is recognition that if one of us suffers, then we all suffer; if one of us lacks, then we all lack; where another's loss is not my gain, but my loss as well - where love is seen as more powerful and more desirable than fear...
To manifest this vision, LIGHT Coalition was created. The model for LIGHT Coalition is a taken directly from the work of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) whose superior work on the global level has made an immeasurable impact in the lives of millions of people and generations to come. LIGHT Coalition is a local response to the global call of CGI and is built from the premise that an entity cannot give what it does not have. We cannot be a source of strength or healing or transformation for anyone, until we ourselves are strong and healed and transformed into the community who believes we are each a part of a greater whole, that we are connected by things of greater importance than the temporary circumstances by which we are separated, accepting our shared responsibility to correct current imbalances and to pass on a healthier world to our children and their children for seven generations to come, and who knows, without a doubt, that if we want to bring change in our world, then we must change what we bring to the world.

A vision where our celebration of each other's differences is what binds us together - where politics preserves peace and governments equally protect and uplift all of its citizens; where spiritual leaders, having actually seen the truth, guide us toward our desired destinations in a culture of inclusivity; where educators and academia's inspire us to develop our humanity, our humanity that is at ease with itself and in harmony with nature.
